Privacy Policy
How we collect, use, disclose, store, transfer, retain and protect personal data under the Singapore Personal Data Protection Act 2012.

1.Scope and Application
This Privacy Policy explains how Nippon Express NEC Logistics Singapore Pte. Ltd. (the Company) collects, uses, discloses, stores, transfers, retains and protects Personal Data in accordance with the Singapore Personal Data Protection Act 2012, applicable legal requirements and the governance standards of the NX Group and Nittsu NEC Logistics, Ltd. Group.
2.Definitions
Personal Data means data about an individual who can be identified from that data or from that data together with other information available to the Company. Processing includes collection, recording, storage, use, disclosure, transfer, correction and deletion.
3.Categories of Personal Data
We may collect names, identification details, contact information, employment information, financial information, shipment and logistics information, website usage information, CCTV images, correspondence records and other information reasonably required for business operations.
4.Sources of Personal Data
Personal Data may be obtained directly from individuals, employers, customers, suppliers, business partners, publicly available sources and authorized third parties.
5.Purposes of Collection, Use and Disclosure
Purposes include provision of logistics services, customs and shipping administration, account management, customer support, procurement, vendor management, recruitment, employment administration, compliance, audit, risk management, business continuity, security, training, analytics and lawful marketing communications.
6.Consent and Withdrawal of Consent
Where required, consent will be obtained. Individuals may withdraw consent subject to legal or contractual restrictions. Withdrawal may affect the Company ability to provide services or maintain business relationships.
7.Recruitment and Employment Data
Applicant and employee information may be processed for recruitment, onboarding, payroll, benefits administration, performance management, travel administration, workplace safety, compliance and termination processes.
8.Cookies and Website Technologies
The Company website may use cookies, analytics tools, server logs and similar technologies to improve website performance, security and user experience.
9.Disclosure of Personal Data
Personal Data may be disclosed to group companies, Nittsu NEC Logistics, Ltd., service providers, cloud vendors, banks, insurers, professional advisers, government agencies and other parties where disclosure is necessary and lawful.
10.Overseas Transfer
Personal Data may be transferred to Japan and other jurisdictions where the Company, its affiliates or service providers operate. Appropriate contractual and organizational safeguards will be implemented.
11.Data Security
Reasonable technical and organizational controls are implemented including access control, authentication, monitoring, employee awareness measures, encryption where appropriate and vendor due diligence.
12.Accuracy, Retention and Disposal
Reasonable efforts will be made to maintain accurate records. Personal Data is retained only as long as necessary for business, legal, tax, regulatory or dispute resolution requirements and then securely deleted or anonymized.
13.Access and Correction Requests
Individuals may request access to or correction of Personal Data in accordance with applicable law. The Company may charge reasonable administrative fees where permitted.
14.Data Breach Management
The Company maintains procedures for investigating, containing and reporting data incidents and notifiable breaches where required by law.
15.Marketing Communications
Marketing messages will be managed in accordance with applicable consent and communication requirements. Individuals may opt out at any time.
